People gripe about moderate muslims supporting Al Qaida or the Taliban, because they don't do anything to stop them. The same applies to evangelicals about Phelps. Support through lack of action.
What part do you not understand. They have to break the law before you can stop them. They have lawyers, and they know how far they can push an still not break the law.
I have not once, EVER seen a news report of any church protesting Phelps, or his church, or counter protesting their appearances.
As a church member, our church and a lot of others do not believe the church should be in polictics. That is why a lot of them stay neutral. Westboro is not a church, only hiding behind the Baptist name. They are a cult that no other church will be part of.
