It's interesting how it has shifted. My wife, who really doesn't like to see anyone except me nude, male or female, has complained about the nudity in the women's locker room,
When I was in high school and college, and a member of a men's athletic club, all the guys were nude without thought -- yes, there may have been the rare exception -- but it was, indeed, a rare exception.
I remember my sisters complaining about having to be very briefly nude while in the locker room. They also said the showers had partial partitions between them that didn't really provide any privacy. My sisters said the real issue was how much, how thoroughly, how openly, and how judgmentally girls/women checked each other out.
But, according the woman I was talking with, nudity in the women's locker room is now essentially the norm and nudity in the men's locker room is shameful and something to be reported to management.
