Mid-May trip

We are going mid May for our first trip this year. Anyone else going to be around there at that time? Launching at Wahweap.

Water levels are so low we are not taking a chance this year. A friend of ours was on the Lake for Easter and did 20K in damage to the hull, propeller, and the cherry on top $450.00 tow back to the marina because of a rock 40' offshore and the depth finder did not pick it up. Lastly fuel prices

We went for a week in late June water levels were coming up. Lower water levels were fine just need to find new and different beaches.

My friend went up last week. Apparently the water levels are up and down on a daily basis and so a ramp may not be open when you get there. Also, he found no place absolutely smooth to launch his boat but lots of mud which the Rangers failed to tell him about.
