Ocala hikes

Yesterday and Today I did hikes in the National forest. On Wednesday I did a 4 miles in and out on a section of the Florida trail would have been longer but Thunderstorm rolled in. Had encounters with two couples on the way north. Exchanged hellos with the first couple the second couple greeted me with more power to you" Today I did a 5 mile hike into Hidden pond from a side trail. Spent about two hours at the pond before hiking back out. No one else around.

RE:Ocala hikes

The only negative reaction I have had would be surprising. It happened on a Summer Solstice hike along the Appalachian trail in Vermont. We were a mixed group of about 20 that day. We meet a middle aged woman who was hiking north. When the first of the group came upon she said something along the lines of come guys put some clothes on. A coupled of the women in the group stopped and talked with her for a minute, still wasn't receptive to the idea.
