Where are you from & where's your favourite local nude spot
Hi all,
where is everyone from in Oz?
and where is your favourite local spot to hang out nude?
I'm from CQ (Rocky) haven't found a nude spot here yet, although, Yeppoon has a nice beach, north of Bangalee towards Sandy point.
has 4wd traffic but pretty quiet to get your kit off.
used to live in melbourne and my favourite spot was Sunnyside beach & Point Impossible Beach at Torquay.
My favourite beach for nude swimming and recreation - I may be shit at frisbee, but I love it - is Balding Bay on Magnetic Island.
I've been to both Rocky Bay and Balding Bay on Magnetic Island. Both lovely beaches.
These are all in Victoria:
- Sunnyside North, on the eastern side of Port Philip (officially CO).
Possibilities (as visited, as described):
- Punchbowl beach, east of San Remo (surf beach; subject to walkers arriving from Punchbowl Road with good visual warning if at the eastern end; subject also to people from the eastern end with no visual warning if at the eastern end - less likely but it happened to us as we were leaving)
- The Oaks East, east of Cape Patterson (unofficial CO; secluded; too rocky for beach access, but a decent rockpool; the main Oaks shore is accessible surf but populated and there's a panoramic lookout above)
- Portsea, below Police Point lookout (looks a possibility; may need to walk through waist-deep water from east or west depending on the tide, but that's the advantage; not guaranteed to be free of walkers)
- Point Nepean bay beach (access from near the old quarantine jetty; access via Coles Track was hampered by destroyed stairway at the western end as of early 2022; may still be accessible by intrepid walkers, otherwise fair visibility along the beach eastwards)
- Lakes Entrance beyond the golf course (not visited for some years; should still be a track east of the links which we always used, otherwise see if you can cut through the links; occasional walkers may come from either way, but good visual warning)
Queensland:
Alexandria Bay (unofficial CO with variable patronage - perhaps a crowd; has been raided in the past; three access paths)
Cape Kimberly (not visited for several years; you'll probably have the southern end completely to yourselves, as long as the sightseeing helicopters from Port Douglas or Daintree crocs don't take an interest)
