Getting naked where you might get caught
Hi
There are no legal nudist areas where I am right now in Thunder Bay and I can only walk around my house naked so long! So I've just been hiking into waterfalls and along lakes and rivers and I do it completely nude. I know it's a little exhibitionistic but what else can a person do. I've met a few people along the way and not one person so far has freaked out!
I do have a towel in case I come up on a group of kids obviously.
Anyone else have similar experiences?
Thankfully, in the UK public nudity is legal.
Naked walking is definitely increasing here, with people outdoors naked most days. I joined a group of 14 others pre-covid and did a 8 mile walk around Sherwood Forest. It felt amazing. We met a number of groups of people. Some didn't approve, and either looked away or gave us mucky looks, but most thought it was funny.
One couple on bikes included the husband who unknown by his wife also goes naked hiking.
The first couple we came across were bird watchers. We had a polite short chat, and as we left they warned us that there were some textiles further up the path, so we wondered if they too were naturists.
To walk around in public, in the buff........I'm moving to the UK!!!
Just because it is legal does not mean that you won't get a visit from the law if they deem it appropriate. However, membership of British Naturism gives #you access to help from their legal team in such circumstances. To the best of my knowledge, they have never failed in their mission.
I don't take any notice of passing traffic when putting out the recycling except that I tend to avoid being seen by school buses as there are still a lot of people who are paranoid about adult nudity when children are present.
During the summer I walk naked in the nearby city center. I thought nobody was around but then heard footsteps behind me. I walked faster and turned the corner. Just then I remembered all the CCTV cameras. I guess it amused those monitoring them. I heard nothing since.
We were on vacation in the Caribbean. The resort we were at had an old steam locomotive displayed outside their front entrance. There was the possibility of foot traffic and vehicles arriving but it seemed quiet at the time. I went on the opposite side of the locomotive away from the entrance and set up for a self timed photo. I panned to get a view of me standing naked in front of the locomotive. It took me longer to get in position and whip off my swimsuit than I planned resulting in the photo below. I figured it was too risky to try again so I didn't get the pose I planned.
