Can being a naturist be spiritual ?

Ok, let's hear it.
I've found that being naked in nature clears my mind, calms my spirit, and makes me feel closer to my creator.
What are your thoughts?

I am in full agreement with your view of nudism/naturism.
Personally I feel more alive and part of the wonderful creation around me. I now accept the body I was given and appreciate all my fellow nudist friends irrespective of size, weight, colour, age etc. It is all wonderful.
Being a scout from age 11 gave me an insight into the natural world around me. Becoming a full time nudist was a further revelation.

our thoughts are that imaginary characters do not interact with reality.
whatever you are feeling close to, its not a 'creator'

Indeed. And being with people who are on the same wave length only heightens those feelings. It can be very spiritual, and very bonding. Great post, Shorehamgent.

There is no better place to do a devotional than in the open sky, in contact with nature, completely naked.

There's a lot of conflict in the Bible regarding nudity and sexuality, and many have rejected Christianity as a result. There's even conflict if Christians can accept spirituality outside of their faith, at least there was in my evangelical church of origin which was anti-nudity. Since we came into the world naked, I think the answer is not if but how a naturist can be spiritual.
I enjoyed watching this youtube video on rethinking Christianity to be sex-positive.
