BEACH CLOSURE!

As of 10/4 this is latest information posted on Canaveral National Seashore site:
Canaveral National Seashore will partially open Sunday, Oct. 2nd. The Apollo Beach will open Oct. 2nd at 6:00 AM , excluding parking lot 5, Eldora, Backcountry & Camping. Playalinda Beach will remain closed until repairs can be made & it is safe to open.

RE:BEACH CLOSURE!

I was there Sunday afternoon and the farthest you could go and park was Lot #3. Seen a few people nude just south of the boardwalk and a few walking south from there. No one seems to know if they will make you wear a bathing suit or not. Was down at playalinda tuesday and everything was blocked off north of #7. The ranger I spoke too said they have lots of damage north of #7 and not sure how soon everything will get opened at this time.
