(When) is sheer too sheer?
Those of us who go small undoubtedly are also open to wearing fabrics that may be a little (or a lot) sheer.
Sometimes the addition of water is necessary to see the effect and sometimes it's obvious in all conditions. Perhaps sheerness is only hinted at by the way the seams and edges stand out. A printed pattern may disguise the sheerness on the skin.
I'm interested in your preferences but also what you've got away if. Has officialdom or others ever judged the sheerness of your attitre?
So far I have not found any fabrics which are too sheer. I have several sheer g-strings which I wear for sunbathing at hotels and on beaches and also some sheer shorts which I wear for gardening in the front garden which is visible from the road.
I have never been challenged about them, even by my wife who is a hanging judge of excessive exposure.
A few years ago I bought a black g-string from the Skinz store in Clearwater. When I got home I noticed the tag mentioned it was semi-sheer. In reality it is too dark for the sheerness to matter. Does not keep me from wearing it on appropriate beaches.
Skinz tend to err on the side of caution regarding sheerness. They usually have a picture of the fabric with a printed tag behind it, which I find to be a good indication. My burnt orange ThinSkinz suit is surprisingly opaque, even when wet, but not completely. :-)
The Skinz M58U-2500-3499 would perhaps be my pick, but my collection is too big already! The holes are nice with skin showing through without too much detail. Until wet, that is.
Have to look them up. Might get a pair for next summer.
i have a black nylon speedo or mostly nylon when dry it's semi sheer when wet it's very sheer. i've worn speedos since i was 12 and most speedos fit somewhat snug so they will show the outline of the penis or at least mine did over the years i bought many and some had that little thin white fabric in the crotch most times i would cut the fabric out .
