Well it's over for another season
We spent our final weekend of the season at the club, of course there was festivities and a party Luann was excited about but I stayed in the camper being it was 40 degrees. I dreaded the winterizing the next morning when it was a high of 38 degrees. It's hard as heck to play nudist at those temps! How many nudist pack insulated coveralls to a place anyway ?
After we closed everything down, winterized the camper, packed a truck load of stuff to being back home my dear wife said no less than 3 times she didn't want to leave. I understand her. the club is an escape and a fun place but it's the dear riends we won't see until May or June next year.
We couldn't go to our camp this weekend (I have season tickets to the New England Patriots and they played at home yesterday) for the end of the season party. Today they are shutting the camp's water off except for the single four-season community center building. But we are heading up next weekend to bring the dogs fall hiking (unless there is a miracle, it will be my first time hiking at camp with clothes on!) Then the next weekend has (an indoor) Halloween party. We have to come up with costumes that don't involve clothes (maybe we can look through old Bare Necessities costumes for inspiration). There are events about once a month for members in the community center all winter. We will find out how well the propane fireplace will warm the cabin. It is probably too powerful even on the lowest setting and since it doesn't have a thermostat we will either have to crack a window open even in the dead of winter or manually cycle it when we get cold over night.
We dont really have an end-of-season down here. We are fortunate that the real cold doesnt come down here and the gulf coast moderates the temperatures. Our local resorts stop the monthly county testing of the pools so technically theyre off limits but the 70F water temp keeps everyone out. We still have monthly events and usually can be nude at most of them, theres just usually less folks about. Our home resort has a Halloween party planned but prior commitments mean we cant make it. Its really been a very lackluster nude summer; with the exception of our nude activities at home its almost been nonexistent. Its still been a good summer but maybe with luck our nude activities will greatly increase next year. Well keep our fingers crossed!
Our club season is now. It's cooled off enough that Di is willing to stay in the RV there. With temps in the upper 90's to low 100's, it's too hot for her and she doesn't enjoy it. There will be some chilly nights, but the days will be in the 70's throughout the Fall. We do get some high 80's to low 90's in the fall but she can deal with that by getting in the pool and sitting in the grassy, shaded area.
The heat makes Mama grumpy and as we all know, if Mama ain't happy, aint no one happy!
JandC burn that LP. I'm known never to spare the juice for the patio heater for the camper furnace. There have been times Luann forgets to take her clothes off fast enuff for my taste but then I crank the stat up. Yes I may get a filthy look but those clothes are no more . LOL
It's time to fire up the hot tub. I already planned a hot tub party at our friends house in a few weeks since his is going, Some may think that is fwd of me without telling them but that's the way I roll lol. Well they know know isnt that good enough ??
Was outside last night taking my usual evening shower. There was a cold breeze and the temps had dropped enough to have me talking to Di through the sliding door screen. I told her, "it's about hot tub time again!" She only likes it when it's really cold out.
The Lady Di I get the drift she is like minded as my best buddies wife and is warm blooded as I am cold all the time. I roast that poor girl out of my house. Well hey she sure as heck doesn't have clothes on then ! lol Heck I take over there climate control at there own house. I bleve I should be able to since I installed everything. I do get a filthy look but by gawd I feel warm and the clothes come off. :)
Andy the answer to your particular prob with the stat issue is a wifi stat you control from your easy chair. When you get that filthy after you bumped that stat up you get that "what me" look. lol
hahaha ... I need to new stat! ;D
