Promote Nudist Lifestyle

so I'm not seeing much interest in the nudist lifestyle from younger people.
What do you think is the reason for this lack of interest?

I would like to see more of a campaign for nudism. I thought seeing more naked bike rides in different cities would begin to have more interest but not seeing it. Let us know what you are experiencing where you are

RE:Promote Nudist Lifestyle

In the Phoenix area I see a lot of people just staying in their immediate group, whether its covid hold over or just something else, they tend to stay in smaller cliques and not out doing medium group things. I hear a lot about being home nudists but no one wants to get together with strangers or such.

We need to see more organised naturist events, skinny dipping, walks etc, the naked bike rides weren't even started to promote naturism, but to promote cyclist safety, the idea being everyone seems to notice a cyclist if they are naked, not so much in normal circumstances,

I am not sure there is less interest in naturism from young people. Just less interest in the traditional ways of doing things. So naturist clubs and organised events arent so much of a thing for them. But if I go to various beaches I use regularly then there are plenty of young people on those.

Not sure that young people have less interest I think they just enjoy the practice differently. I think where possible they are more likely to hang out with friends at public c/o beaches rather than go to a nudist venues. Venues have had some success when they host event for young nudist groups as well.

I honestly don't think there is much we can do with the resources which we have available when we have to compete with the billions of dollars spent promoting clothing in all its varieties.
Amateur efforts always struggle against the weight of a sophisticated advertising industry paid heavily to promote things that will further enrich the richest one per cent of so in the world and I don't exclude any country or race.

We're having some limited success bringing in some early 20's males and females but I'm not sure people that age are joiners. They have lots more to do than we did decades ago.

I actually see a lot of young people at the nude beach that I go to. In fact, it's mostly young adults. I understand that private clubs have difficulty recruiting younger members, but I suspect that isn't because there aren't young nudists, just that young nudists don't want to have to join a club when they don't have to. Young people these days are more likely to organize events online.

yes they seem to do other things and if they dont go to resorts then the resorts will slowly die and close. Well hope the resorts are still around as long as I'm able to visit them

There are younger people doing nudism. Just check out TN. What I heard from them they do not like clubs because people are so old. I guess with events like nudefest you can motivate younger people to become a member or to visit clubs. I'm not a fan of WNBR because it was originally bicycle politics and its in public where non-nudists are.

As a baseline human response, I think it is a matter of acceptance. Some resorts are $40-60 for a day pass, which is steep for anyone, but especially so for a young person. So people who are willing to dole out that much are more well-to-do or retirees. So this leans to the older crowd. Ive seen mean reactions to older people on social media that amounts to *ewww, gross!* Not everyone wants to hang out with their grandpa in the nude. But the young folks who are raised in the lifestyle or who are more mature accept everyone. They are few in number. Im hoping for a more positive trend.
