RE: Why do people cancel their membership here?

But that is part of the problem, this misconception that you have to have been going nude for years and years in order to have something worthwhile to add. I first went naked on a beach 30 years ago and have been naked whenever the opportunity permits, including a corner of my garden, when I had one. Not all of us are lucky enough to live in a sparsly populated country or have large yards/gardens. It does not mean we are lesser nudists. Not all of us have access to nudist venues, particularly single men (my wife did not like going nude) so only have more limited experiences of social nudism. Perhaps the members of TN should be working to promote greater acceptence of single naturists (of both genders) than simply continuing the same old unfounded prejudices. It makes no odds whether a member has been a nudist for one day or 100 years and frankly this elitist attitude has to stop.

Some excellent responses like usual Jen. I stay here because it is the best site for true nudists I have found. I have met 20 people so far from here IRL and will be meeting more this weekend. There are a lot of others I hope I can meet someday, just need to go to CT, NY, GA, FL, CA to meet them. Once I win the lottery, I will be able to meet the friends in other parts of the world.

RE: Why do people maintain their membership here?

The resorts here in Tenn. are NOT single male friendly!!! The only one I will go to is Timberline in Crossville. I have met friends there. Love it ! At Cherokee , they watch you like a hawk , NOT a fun time, lol.

Timberline is a private resort which I prefer . I believe it is much more safe and adults can be adults . The owners are very friendly and unlike other resorts, they do not follow single men around and throw them out when they scratch there ass!! I have had bad experiances with so - called " single friendly " resorts, and will never go to them any more. My best trip was Jamaica nude beach and loved it!!

Empty vessels
If you are writing about a ship rather than a container! Even with a ship, I suspect the same is true....

Site doesn' accept many major credit cards.; I've never heard of 'alertpay' thus didn't trust it or use it, went for a check sent 2 weeks ago which I suppose will take a month for the site to clear it through the bank. If they just allowed major cards AND Paypal set up, it would have been much easier.

The site used to accept donations (before it was a freemium site) via paypal. But paypal has deemedTN to be an "adult" site so will no longer act as the clearing house.

Because they can't or don't pick and choose between the elements that work and those that don't. There is arrogance here and rudeness and perversion but just like the real world, I haven't cancelled my subscription there either. I don't personally wish we were all the same and am always amused by the emotion eliciting discussions that try the good graces of a few. I haven't met anyone through here but I have had some good conversations, been able to voice my own opinions which have been read and well received by many and be part of an online community that has SOMETHING in common with me that I can't share with many people back in the real world with which I occasionally involve myself as well.

Timberline is NOT a nudist resort. It's a partk for Lifestylers. Whatever happened with the bankruptcy hearing?!

Singles are welcome at Cherokee as well as Rock Haven. If you behave and act as a genuine nudist, there are no issues there.
