RE: Why do people maintain their membership here?

People cancel membership here because of the negativism, and overt sexualization that has creeped in over the last two years or so, including the harassment by a certain segment, and the argumentative trolls that only seem to dominate the forum.
People stay because we have met some very good people, had some interesting and worth while discussions, chats, and education here.
I'll admit to having given serious thought to both. "Stay" is still currently winning, for me. ( but not by much )

Site doesn' accept many major credit cards.; I've never heard of 'alertpay' thus didn't trust it or use it, went for a check sent 2 weeks ago which I suppose will take a month for the site to clear it through the bank. If they just allowed major cards AND Paypal set up, it would have been much easier.
Which credit Cards were you having problems with? Alertpay are a Canadian operation and registered with the relevant authorities there.
