Does any city in the world have a Centre for Nudism?
Can anybody tell me if there is a Centre for Nudism anywhere in the world?
You know a centre that one can literally visit (ie not just online) and can experience history, insights, experiences, ideologies, philosophies, reference materials etc for nude life. Ideally, a place that is as free to enter as it is to choose to wear no clothing! A place where non-nudists can go to become educated, and hopefully select to join (or not). A place where you can interact and dialogue with a real nudist...
My online searching reveals nothing like this exists, but that may be just the localisation of my hardware that is limiting my search.
You can certainly find clubs (ie associations and organisations) and then other listings for resorts and beaches etc - but nothing that in essence brings it all together.
Please let me know what you have found.
The closest I can think of is the AANR Naturist Library at Cypress Cove in Florida. It documents the history of AANR, but not of nudism as a whole (other than any articles in old issues of their newspaper which is catalogued in the library). But since it is on the grounds of an active nudist resort, not many non-nudists will ever go there. It is not very big and we have only visited once in all the times we have been to the Cove.
I found this in my searches later after my post.
It's an interesting discussion that it is inaccessible to non-nudists... Kind of like singing to the choir.
One of the great challenges for the nude community is to gain understanding from non-nudes as this is the key to greater acceptance and greater opportunities for nudes to be nude.
