Friends list

What does everyone here do when you friends list get too high. Are you friend collectors or do you delete. Some people f you have lists of friends in the 100s and there is no way you can communicate with all of them. We are thinking that we should delete those that we dont chat with anymore.
Suggestions???

We delete only those that havent updated their profiles, information, pics etc. leaving the others as friends may help to make new friends if they see one of our friends has become a friend of theirs.

Yes my list is high also , I go once through it a year and if we haven't chatted Ecct...I delete them , can alway refried if they contact you

I generally go through and delete if we have not even made some type of connection. I/we dont just accept anyone.
