Five miles of freedom

I love midweek in the woods. It was 84F and sunny! I hiked a mile out with a 35 pound pack in training for the Colorado Trail this summer. I dropped the pack, grabbed my key fob and took off my shorts. I hiked another 3 miles out and back without seeing anyone. I saw 20+ deer, a raccoon, and an owl. My huarache sandals held up well, but I could have gone barefoot. When I got back to my pack, I left my shorts off and hiked back to my car. Still nobody around. Then drove home nude. A perfect adventure.

Did you leave your shorts with the pack and walk without any clothing in your possession?

I should have. But I have friends who run these trails. Next time!

I have also done a 5 mile hike nude. Locked my clothes in the truck and carries my key fob and my phone. Stuck the key fob in my hat I was wearing so I didn't have to carry it. I felt great.

Thank you. It is both unsettling and exciting at the same time. Id much rather be in a nudist place. But it still feels like freedom

Im the old days, we could hide a key. In my truck, I can lock a key inside and use the keypad. But a fob is a pain in the butt. Im happy you got outside too
