I'd be curious to know how they'd handle a wade fisherman in waist deep water. Personally, I've never been checked while wade fishing but maybe I've just been lucky. I keep my shorts dry in my tacklebox and can't imagine even the most hard nosed leo having a problem with that. But I don't know any personally. Next time you talk with one you know, ask him and let us know what he says.
