Help free me from my shell

I'm sick of being shy and I would be more then happy to attend a gathering, go to a beach, or go camping in the nude, but the fear of ridicule or lack of acceptence has stopped me. However, I would attend if I had a small group of friends to go with who would offer their support and acceptence.
