Being a naturist, I end up weaving some naturism into every story I write. On one hand I have a fantasy that takes place where a professor, his girlfriend, and a couple of students are trapped in a magical parallel world where only slaves and prisoners are forced to wear clothes (coverings). Some goblins wear coverings because they feel they look fiercer. On the other end of the spectrum is a near future novel after a catastrophic solar storm. One of the protagonists lets it leak out that she is a bit of a nudist and reveals some of that history. Later on, there is a scene where she has hooked up with the other protagonist, and they have a mostly nude camping adventure--why not? The government has collapsed, and the human population has been severely reduced. They are not bound by any law or social norm. In this book, the naturism is a very small part of the 750-page story, but it's in there.
