Heat Wave
Talking about only 17 to 18 c this week in my part of the UK during the middle of the day so evenings too cold to do nude gardening.
I do my outdoor cardio early in the morning and wearing just shorts and footwear. Resistance work in the basement which is not as hot and I can exercise nude.
Wishing for a heatwave in southern Australia, but we're relatively mild lately. Nice enough for a shirt-off walk last week but not quite today. Later in the week there may be an opportunity to repeat the effort.
Last summer was quite cool, so less late-night walks although most weeks post Christmas had at least one beachable day - to me thats aound 21C/70F with sunshine and only weak breezes or 24C/75F if the sunshine or wind are less ideal. 30C/86F days seemed few and far between compared to typical, let alone nudging 40C/104F or more!
A great way I find to stay cool, it is 35c here daily, and 24c at night, is( A) the obvious way stay Naked, so that the body can sweat and cool naturally (does not work so well with clothes) and ( B) cool down your Balls with an ice pack.
Love the idea of cooling my balls off with ice
Down to 14C in the north, not forgetting the rain every day, could do with a bit of a heatwave
I heard the explanation for that! The way the jet stream is pointing now is sending warmer air to southern Europe but on its other side (above the UK) its sucking arctic air southwards.
Still mild in Melbourne but it's turning wintery again in time for the weekend. :-(
Wow, I rarely get to experience any lake, especially one as warm as that!
I did swim in a stream on a farm between Cairns and Cooktown as part of a Daintree bus tour once. I was surprised how cold it felt despite the tropical environs in September.
