RE:Being a gay man at a primarily straight resort

Talk about Navet, you are completely self absorbed in it! Grow up.What does this mean?

Navet means turnips in French. Something about veggies?

I have it on excellent authority, that navet is a gobbledygook word meaning, sexuality that is neither repressed nor gone wild, and it would be naive to believe otherwise.

Well I just enjoy being a nudist no matter the venue. If you treat everyone with respect you usually avoid any problems especially on a platonic level. As a gay man I've noticed that other gay or bi guys will usually be attracted to me and vice versa. There are also couples who enjoy being with gay men even if only platonically.

RE:Being a gay man at a primarily straight resort

A gay man being at a straight resort is not unlike a gay man having a close relationship with a female friend.
When the tension is removed from the equation it leads to a more authentic interaction in many ways.
First of all, the obvious. Women will be okay with it because they know they are safer with that man who is gay because there isn't that tension.
I will say to the straight guys, a lot of gay men really like straight men. And I don't mean that they will hit on you or lear at you (necessarily). Or that you will be some conquest they will seek to take over. They know you're straight and they will respect that.
But gay men like men. And many like men who act like men.
Now that doesn't mean there aren't masculine gay men. Actually, I would say that most gay men don't fit the stereotype that society and the media have put on us.
There is a pecking order among men though. With straight men being at the apex. Though gay men know they're unattainable because they're straight, straight men are very appealing to gay men. I can see why gay men would like being at a straight resort. Straight men are the fantasy for many gay men.
