From some articles on SI.com and realclearsports.com it looks like wecould begetting closer to a settlement of this whole mess. I figured both sides would realize just how much money they will all lose if this continues and the season is shortened or cancelled. As another group memeber mentioned in a realted post, it's all about the money.

According to a report in the Star Ledger this morning, a deal appears to be close. This would give the players nearly half the revenue. Sounds prominsing, but we'll see if anything/one derails the plan at the last minute.
