Where to strip?

We've just had a lovely day on the beach there. I always thought you could go nude after the lifeguard's ring, so we went mid beach and it was almost empty with a few couples and lots of chaps down the far end. As we walked back (well trudged), there seemed to be a lot more nudists, towards the cafe and the loos, some being very close to the public path. If its a case of anything left of the loos, next time we might not walk all the way along. Was a busy day nice to see lots of people enjoying themselves, save for the group of 50+ dogwalkers that descended on the beach mid morning.
