RE:New Dermatologist

Ever since I had my first melanoma my exams have been "FULL BODY" examinations. My habit is I decline the gown -- what a waste -- and remove my shoes and socks to await the Dr. As soon as he arrives I remove my shirt and shorts while we say "hi" and all that.

When he's looked everywhere else and he's ready, I pull down the underwear for his exam of my buttocks and then my front side. Since he's always accompanied by a female assistant, I don't go commando to the appoints, which would be my normal attire.

RE:New Dermatologist

Not a new dermatologist, but a new assistant on one of my recent visits.
Assistant: Why are you here?
Me: Semiannual full body exam.
Assistant: Will you be taking any clothing off? (I was tempted to ask how I could have a full body exam with clothing on, but I didn't.
Me; Yes, all of it.
Assistant: Then take off everything but your underwear. The doctor will be with you shortly.
Since I wasn't wearing underwear, I took everything off.
