Bugger, this is my first time back to Sunnyside in over a year, spend most of what little time I get at either Oaks East @ Cape Patterson or beaches on Phillip Island like Forrest Caves East or Bore Beach in San Remo. Check out nudist compass for more locations
The last day of summer? With the equinox almost here and the last fey of warm weather forecast for a while it was good that I had time to visit. The fact it's been overcast today and possible storms were forecast meant I was one of a small number to enjoy the conditions. I counted 20 at one stage including two females. The 'usual' crowd was absent.
Anyway it was plenty warm enough (peaking around 29C/85F) and the breeze created nice waves to splash around in while bringing in lots of fragments of seaweed.
A great day to enjoy the warmth, the sand and the water as I wonder about whether another chance to visit shall come.
The last pleasant day of the season saw the temperature fail to quite reach 20C at Sunnyside, but the negligible breeze and sunny skies made up for it. A pleasant day enjoyed by numbers in the low twenties for the time I was there with only a few braving the water which is currently measured at 17C. Worth going as the weather gets cooler and wetter later in the week.
