I have driven several trips nude, only putting something on to get gas! My first one was from LA to Monmouth lakes back in the 70s, then convinced a friend to do the trip with me where he did the refueling from san Diego and back. I have driven out to Flagstaff, Phoenix, and Washington nude, which was always great especially in warmer time of the year.
I always keep some object on the center console to prevent the look loos from being me, and I usually drive in the right lanes so that passengers cannot see me as easily, only passing in a left lane when passing slower trucks. Usually I have my shorts at my feet and they can be easily slipped on.
I have never had a problems with the Highway patrol, because they are usually looking for speeders. or safety violations.
The only times I had been spotted, I was never reported that I know of, but one guy did make some rude gestures. Another passenger was waving at me and smiled while pointing at me!
What is the other board?Someone on another board drove nude from his home over 400 miles to a clothing optional resort, and the only clothing he brought was one pair each of sneakers and sandals and 2 baseball hats.

Just this past summer, moving from LA County (Long Beach) to North Carolina, I drove naked the whole way there, only putting on loose sweat shorts and maybe a shirt worn wide open, and that was only when I had to go to a rest stop during the day or go in a very public area. Otherwise, fuel stops, driving, fast food drive-thrus, everything was done completely nude. Had some fun as a result a few times there.

So you must have pumped gas nude several times. How did you manage to do that?
Did you get all of your food and drinks at drive throughs?
Did you sleep in your car? If not, how did you handle hotel check-in?
I have not driven west very often, but have noticed that from NJ to FL, the only one that has a sign in freestanding men's room saying that shirts are required is PA. Did any states where you made a rest room stop have a sign like that?

I live in AZ and drive a convertible. I have a bit of a drive to my clothing optional resort. Most often I'm clothed on the way there. But after spending a relaxing day naked, I'm just not ready to put my clothes back on. It really is quite refreshing to drive naked. To stay within the law I often wear a g-string or a thong. I even do so with the top down, usually at night. My route is at highway speeds on the freeway so folks are focused on driving and not looking at me. I've never had an issue. I would love to be able to ride my motorcycle naked but that would require a unique situation to pull that off.
