Posting Videos to you Profile and TDP

We have found challenges posting videos to our profile, only a few formats seem to work. Two we have had success with are .mp4 and .mov
[.mpg] won't work.

Also we have not been able to get our videos on this group to work, even the exact same videos that work on our profile. Are videos not allowed in groups? Or does anyone know a solution?
