Girlfriend isn't a nudist

If you take her to Serendipity, Cleveland, GA, they recognize that it might take some a lot longer to acclimate to nudism. Take her for a short trip there, a day or two, rent one of the cabins near the pool. Depending where in TN you are, it shouldn't be that far.

That park is the best ever for a first time social nudist experience. It's less than 4 hours for us. We'll be there over Labor Day weekend. They are the friendliest, most understanding plus their prices are good as is the food.

From what I readTennessee has a couple of nice places, too. Being a nudist is all about getting your head around the perceptions of society. We've been conditioned to certain ways of thinking. Its a matter of her finally having that moment when she relaizes that its O.K. to be socially nude. Most all clubs understand this and will allow a woman to be clothing optional around the grounds. No suits in pools and spas, but I've seen women with bikinis on at Glen Eden with hubby off to the side gradually accilmating themselves. My wife and I just dove in and stripped down at the Terra Cotta 15 years ago, but eveyone is different. She's already seen all sorts of body types since she's been to a club with you, so she understands that we don't look like models. Also try Net Nude. My wife is not really a nudist.But she goes and participates with me,because she knows how much I enjoy it.All I asked,is that she try it once,if she did not like it,I would not ask her to go again.

Even my own Dad did it! When I was about 4-5, my Dad took my Mom and I to a nude beach/lake in Germany. My Dad was occasionally nude at home; my Mom never. So when we arrived, my Dad went nude; and thought my Mom might join him. She did not. How surprising... I once joked with my Mom that had she gone nude that day, I would have become a nudist at 4 instead of 25! But after that event, my Dad didn't mention or try nudism again. 10 years later, while on vacation in the South of France and surrounded by topless women, my Mom unexpectedly decided try "something different"; she pulled down her top - much to my own disbelief - and stayed topless for the rest of the day. So it wasn't that she was unable or unwilling to disrobe; it's just that she wasn't prepared to do it 10 years prior on that beach in Germany.

• I think a lot of guys take the same approach as my Dad. And as Andy mentioned, throw in the towel when it doesn't work out. The problem with my Dad's approach is that there was no preparation; no prelude to that trip to the beach. For example, I don't ever remember my Dad discussing nudity or encouraging me to be nude. Had I been nude with my Dad or he nude at home more extensively, it might have swayed my Mom's attitude towards home nudity.

• Then, faced with the fact that my Mom did not just go nude on her first try, he simply gave up. My Mom wasn't opposed to going to that beach, she simply didn't want to be nude. So we could have returned; even repeatedly. On days when the beach wasn't as crowded; or choosing a location on the far end of the beach. It may have taken 5, 10, 20 trips. A gradual approach combined with home nudity. Knowing my Mom fairly well, I believe that approach would have ultimately succeeded.
