Neighbor

Our neighbors to the left of us are an elderly couple that we sometimes invite over to get togethers/parties. They are really nice and many times help us with small things while we are away, like bringing our garbage cans back from the curb after trash day so that it is not obvious we are away. One day, while I was cleaning the pool, he popped his head over to invite us to his super bowl party. He saw the pool brush pole while I was cleaning the pool and figured he would just talk with me then. I was fully naked like I ALWAYS am in my back yard. He was un-phased and we stood there and chatted for a couple minutes while I continued what I was doing. The next time we were over at his place, he joked about it, and said the next time he poked his head over he would make sure it was my wife there and not me. He said he goes in his back yard naked as well sometimes, but I think that was his way of just diffusing his anxiety over surprising me that way, but i told him it was no big deal.

We have a three-season room (unheated) attached to the back of our house. It has large windows on two sides. I keep my rowing machine in it because I like looking out the windows when I workout. Last spring, it was a warm day and it was warm in the three season room, so I decided to row naked, something I often do when the room temperature allo ws. I was about 3000 meters into my workout when I noticed something out the corner of my eye. It was my wife's friend and her husband who had decided to walk their dogs over to our house. They looked in the window and saw that I was naked. It was the husband who made a big deal of it, yelling "look, he's rowing naked." That caught my wife's attention and she came to the back door which is next to the three season room to find out about the commotion. Now when we see them socially, he always brings it up, no matter who else might be with us. My wife now knows why I think he's an idiot.

Sad how sometimes people are stupid about life. But then there are those people who understand.
Our neighbors are like that, west are great and east ones are, well not very bright.

Good neighbours are very important. I've been a bit unwell recently and a neighbour who was a close friend to my late wife, friends with me too, asked if there was anything I needed, all I asked for was some fruit. She came in the side gate, and I was getting so late afternoon sun, she sat down and chatted. She walked in when I was naked with my wife (not naked) maybe 10 years ago, she was fine, and another time as well. She has told no one and is relaxed about it, all you can ask for really.

It's a shame some people are to immature to comprehend anything that might be considered "outside the box".
My neighbours know I'm generally naked in my yard, why would I dress when it's 35+ plus (99-100) degrees in summer? So if they call by, well they know.

Been seen too many times to count. From our first apartment to our current home. Neighbors have seen me, mostly but also my wife and realize that we do indeed live naked. I needed something out of my car parked in the carport behind our unit. It was late, real late and I thought most everyone would be asleep. I snuck out the kitchen door, down the alley about 50 ft to the car. I opened the door, and the interior light went on. That, I guess, caught the attention of the old woman living in the back unit with her kitchen window looking out onto the carport. I saw movement and saw her looking at me. I got what I needed and walked over to her kitchen window and apologized and said that I didn't think anyone would be awake. She said, "I don't sleep much, so now you know." She didn't seem angry, but it was kind of a warning that I should not do it again.

Subsequent sightings have all seemed to be friendly, but we've had the same reaction and joking going on in social settings that really pisses me off and it angers my wife as well. Nudist can be made the brunt of jokes by their immature neighbors and family members. The best defense is a good offense. Let's make fun of the naked people so no one knows I'm the pervert I really am. People do these types of things to hide their own closet skeletons.

Our current neighbors seem fine with us being naked all the time in our backyard. I honestly think it's because they've seen my wife naked quite a bit. If it's just the guy being naked and seen all the time, even though there's a participating partner, you'll get a different reaction, in my opinion. We both help each other out in many ways with trash bins, house security checks when either couple is gone for several days, picking up packages. Their dog barks quite a bit and we never complain. I think it's a tit for tat kinda thing. Some friends will ask questions but most are like the immature neighbors. If they seem interested, if they seem agreeable to our lifestyle, then others in the group will turn on them and make fun of them and they don't want that. My typical response is, "when you grow up and stop acting like a 12 y.o., we can discuss this but not until then."
