I read somewhere on this site that a water, I think in Germany, hosted a clothing optional day once.
Some cruise ships have small water parks.
Perhaps the Bare Necessities Cruise will be on one of them sometime.

I have gone down waterslides naked without any problems so I don't see there would be any problems with a thong or even a G-string.

Incidentally, I have worn a thong in the waterpark attached to a Disney hotel in Florida. In this case it was cotton thong underwear as I was at the hotel for a conference and I had not anticipated that there would be an opportunity to swim.

Further to my post above my swimsuit for lane swimming in the local municipal pool is similar to the speedo solar.

Further to the original post I have just looked at pictures of the Speedo Solar and it is similar to the swimsuit I wear for lane swimming at the local municipal pool.

Has anyone worn a thong at a water park?I have not, but have worn a speedo solar.
The speedo solar is nothing particularly daring as it is similar to the swimsuit which I wear for my weekly lane swimmming at the local municipal pool.

True, but when almost everyone is wearing swim shorts it seems to be daring.
