RE:Bringing back the obligatory nudity for men

If only. But it's just not going to happen. The feminists have taken over and all male and masculine preserves and traditions must be destroyed.

I agree.

I would love to live in a world where there would be seperate athletic and recreational activities for males only and nudity is required. Young guys today are terrified to be seen nude by another man.

I totally agree. All athletic and recreational activities should be men only. Nudity should be required. No exception. Male only and totally nude and barefeet.

RE:Bringing back the obligatory nudity for men

Well think about it. The olympics.were held and all the participants were nude. Except for sandals !Then we had the YMCA, that men were required to be nude in the pool. Women were not allowed in that facility. They had the YWCA, not sure what they were required to wear. But we had to have more equity between sexs. They had to know what was going on in a mens only club. Remember the movies showing them going into those places and hearing. Madam there has never been a woman in here in a hundred years !I guess rugby was played nude. Made more sense clothes were ripped off or used to hold the opponent. From running. I am not sure about wrestling ?Now we have the gay spas for men to be together to work out. Plus theres saunas and hot tubs !

Concerning wrestling, someone on another board posted that when nudity was permitted throughout the YMCA, his father always wrestled nude because he thought that it would intimidate a clothed opponent. I can understand this, but the clothed opponent could have stripped to even the score.

Similarly, I had a coworker who was in a competitive beach volleyball league. He commented that while most of the men played in board shorts, one team competed in swim briefs because they thought it intimidated their opponents. I fail to understand why this would be true.

If you've only been exposed (!) to boardshorts, then swim briefs may be intimidating. If you've only wrestled clothed opponents, nude may be intimidating.

I guess your opponent could match and neutralise those particular challenges, but if they're not ready to I'd call it a psychological advantage.

True, but you would need a swim brief and a place to change for volleyball. For wrestling all you need is the courage to do so.
