I have a couple different styles of Skechers. Luv them. Love to see men wearing flip flops. Love to be naked wearing only flip flops. Sexy and erotic to me.

No particular brand, just trying to find a good balance and a little longevity. It's a bit hit-or-miss at my preferred price point. :-)

The kind with a wide strap across the foot, above the toes.
Can't stand the kind with something between the toes.
Whatever brand I find at a reasonable price.

I thought anything without a back strap were flip flops.
Those with something between the toes were also called thongs, the kind without were also slides.

To thw best of my knowledge rhings are what flip flops are called outside the US. Slides are called slides because you literally slide your foot under the strap that goes across as opposed to between the toes. Slide also typically don't make that flip flop sound.

When we were visiting my wife's brother and his family in Australia, we took them to a fairly nice restaurant.
There was a sign in the lobby that said men in thongs were allowed in the bar, but not the dining room.
I was confused until our nephew explained that it referred to footwear.
Since he was wearing thongs (on this feet) we ate at a table in the bar.
