Good year foe gardening!
We have weekly rain this year in Texas. If your not from texas, you need to know we have drought and wet cycles. After several years of drought we are having a wet year, which I expect every 20 or 25 years. Hopefully it will continue and I will have a lush garden to work in the buff all summer long.
Doesn't the rain make gardening all the more fun? It's nice to look out at your plot / patch and see all the plants just growing their little heart out all green and loaded with vegetables. We've had a damp spring and until this past week, good rainfall. It's been a little dry the last few days, grass is a little brown but rain is in the forecast and appears to be down the road. It'll get here and everything will perk up. I did harvest my first three zucchini and the tomato vines and peppers are loaded; I think we'll end up with a decent crop.
With all this rain that we are having the grass that's in the garden is growing good. Since we have been having rain it's so much easier pulling out the grass with the soil still moist. Since it can be a workout its best done nude. Once it's been raining for a bit just head on out to the garden while it's raining and start pulling, no sweat and you stay cool with being water like the garden is.
