RE:Being seen

I think what makes it an "Age thing" at least for me is that once we get older and retired the G.A.S. ( give a shit) factor is greatly reduced. When I was younger, even though I loved being seen nude just as much as I do now, I suppressed those desires quite a bit due to the fear of job and career repercussions. About 22+ years ago, I had a full frontal nude photo of myself published in Playgirl magazine. (long story) It actually cost me a few career opportunities, although had several women ask to take their picture with me at Haulover. Now that I am retired albeit working part time I really don't worry about it anymore. That is why I now do as many of the naked bike rides as my schedule and budget allows and also why I will let anyone that wants to take pictures of me nude. I also take the trash to the street, gas up the car, go to the ATM, Wash the car and am starting to make clothing donations all nude with no clothing with me.

There is some feeling of more freedom for me too since I retired but it is tempered that it could c
ause problems with extended family, friends and community groups. I remember last summer when we found out that our grandson would be spending an extra 3 weeks with us that I expressed my mixed emotions about it. When our younger son who doesn't live with us asked why, our older son who did said it was because I couldn't swim nude in our pool. The younger son was shocked that I swam nude on our private backyard pool. While it didn't damage our relationship I dread what would happen if my sister knew.
Do you drive both ways nude for clothing donations or wear something you want to donate and take it off when you get there. How close are you to having only the clothing you need? Can't ask want because I would suspect that would mean no warm weather clothing.

I love being seen naked, but not always and under all circumstances, and prefer to be in a situation, such as a beach, where I can do it without causing a fuss. I like to walk naked, and do it often in the summer, but that's something that I'll do where I won't likely be seen

That's about where I am. I guess it comes down to consent or implied consent on the part of the viewer. Entering a clothing-optional zone implies consent. Being naked yourself implies consent. Other situations are more problematic especially with the legal structure and I try to avoid those, by choosing out-of-the-way places and times. A more-permissive legal environment such as the UK has would probably allow me to be more open.

I . While it didn't damage our relationship I dread what would happen if my sister knew..What would happen?

I don't know, but I am sure she would be very upset. While I doubt that she would stop communicating with me, there would be a lot of strain for a while.
She complained when more men wore swim briefs on the beach some years ago.
When I mentioned the time that our mother caught me going between the bedroom and bathroom in just shorts in the middle of the night and told me to never do that again in her house, she said that I should not do that in anyone else's house.
When her husband was on home hospice and had a male aid, she commented that she would wear a robe over her pajamas between the bedroom and bathroom so the aid wouldn't see her in her nightwear.

RE:Being seen

Might be a age thing but I like posting photos and being seen nude

There's a comfort that comes with age once we accept who we are, what we look like and know how to feel free. But I don't want to be seen for the sake of being seen. I have a strong preference to be seen by others who are also nude and while it's exhilarating to be seen by somebody who is clothed it's not something I actively seek!

How could having a nude photo in a nagazine affect your career opportunities?

RE:Being seen

Could be an age thing for some but not all. Certainly with age we may begin to care less about being seen. However I was always that way from childhood. My mom used to tell stories about me taking my clothes off and running around naked. At times she struggled to keep clothes on me. At least until I got older and it was no longer cute and I got punished for it. Nevertheless I've always preferred to be naked and liked to be seen. Many times I had wondered why but now I think it may be that it just projects a confidence in who I am and demonstrates my openness as a person.

Kind of odd from a person with a private profile to ask "and why not?"

That aside - some people don't like chocolate and those who don't aren't offended when they see somebody eating it, but when it comes to nudity it doesn't work like that. So I respect what others which are seemingly the vast majority wish for.

RE:Being seen

I don't think it's an age thing I love being seen always find it exiting when I'm caught by neighbours in the garden. Don't have too much experience beyond that but would love to explore more
