Unfortunately the legal system is stacked "against" the everyday citizen. I had a very similar issue not to long ago in the Seattle area. If you haven't yet agreed to pay the fine, I would highly suggest finding a lawyer, they have legal ability and access into the court systems to help the everday citizen weed thru the red tape. It cost me $3500 one time payment and took a year to have it dismissed!! Worth every penny in my opinion
Was caught last Saturday, along with 3000 others naked doing a nude winter solstice swim .... haha. Probably doesn't count. But there were lots of onlookers including my partner who enjoyed the parade, there were some funny sights. Lots of people doing some interesting stretching before & after the swim apparently.
