Country: USA - 2; Most states have laws against nudism and restricting us to secluded or indoor areas. However, the federal gov't doesn't have any concerns with it.
Region: Southern states - 2 - We have some states that rate higher or lower but some are very limiting and have laws limiting our lifestyle.
State: Tennessee - 3 - Some nice areas to visit, several resorts and several forrested areas for hiking. Generally, I believe manypeople could care less but many would call the cops if they saw me in the window.
City: Nashville - 3 - The people here are generally accepting of different lifestyles with an attitude of "Live and let live."

I would say Sweden is a number 5. The law says nothing about nudity, only "offensive behaviour". But you'll have really badly before it would be considered illegal.
Feel free to visit and use the nature!

California law prohibits lewd and lascivious conduct. The California supreme court ruled that simple nudity is not lewd or lascivious. San Francisco has no specific law prohibiting public nudity, as does Berkeley. I walk down the street naked all the time. Nudity is very appropriate and natural.

A lot more accepted than what people are prepared to give the British credit for. Public nude events like the World Naked Bike Ride are especially popular here, although "traditional nudism" is on the way out.

RE: Utah's laws

Here in the UK nudism in itself is not ilegal but you might just be arrested if you try it in the street. Here in Brighton the council was very liberal in that they declared the first legal nudist beach at Black Rock in 1980 and we have 2 more unoficial beaches. A number of other councils have followed suit as in official beaches along with a large number of unoficial ones. So Brighton would rate a 5 and the rest of the country a probable 3 to 4.

.
And I thought it would be the exact opposite in such a beautiful place.

Really? In a country where Islam is the predominant religion?
