Petition to Authorise clothing optional hiking on dedicated semi-remote / remote hiking trails in NSW national parks

Howdy fellow naturists,

We are gauging interest in an exciting new initiative that could pave the way for clothing-optional hiking trails in New South Wales (NSW) national parks. These dedicated trails would be thoughtfully located near or crossing creeks and rivers, offering an incredible opportunity to enjoy nature in its purest form.

Our proposal involves the use of an underutilised piece of legislation from the New South Wales Consolidated Acts, specifically the LOCAL GOVERNMENT ACT 1993 - SECT 633, which governs bathing (including nude bathing) and other water-based recreational activities. This legislation allows councils to designate certain areas for nude activities, provided appropriate notices are erected.

By leveraging this legislation, we can advocate for clearly marked, clothing-optional trails that would respect both the naturist community and other park users. Imagine hiking along serene trails, with the freedom to enjoy a refreshing dip in a creek or river, all within the legal framework provided by the LOCAL GOVERNMENT ACT 1993.

We're inviting nudists and naturists from around the globe to express their interest in supporting this initiative. If there is enough support, we will then launch a petition to formally present this proposal to local councils and relevant authorities.

We also welcome anyone interested in this cause to join the newly created group, the "NSW National Park Nude Hiking Support Group."(as soon as the group is authorised by the moderators - please keep checking regularly if the group is not up and running yet, as Mods are very busy and may take time to authorised the group) This is where we will share updates, gather support, and organise our efforts.
