GNI Gathering
Has anyone been there?
If so, how does it feel to know that you must remain nude the entire time, except in the case of inclement weather?

There's actually a GNI group. You might get more answers there.
I found the group and posted there also, but since the group has only 1 post in the past 2 years, I am not expecting much if any response.

Gay Nudists International.
They run a large annual gathering for about a week in NE PA where clothing is not allowed.

I googled it and found the website very easily. I don't recall hearing about this before but definitely looks interesting. Looks like we just missed the event this year but its on again in August 2025.

I've never been to GNI, but have been visiting a nudist resort the past 2 years. While you can wear clothing in your room, camper, rv, or tent, they do require nudity in all public spaces unless weather doesn't allow it. I have no issues with that, I in fact prefer being nude. It keeps everyone on an equal playing field so to speak, no worry about creepers in clothes just there to watch everyone else.

Actually it is Gay Naturists International. Formed as a result of efforts of naturist and free beaches advocate Lee Baxandall work to welcome more diverse people into the naturist community. When the existing association clubs werent as open they formed a sub group of the Naturist Society and later branched off on their own.Gay Nudists International. They run a large annual gathering for about a week in NE PA where clothing is not allowed.

Yes, it is an all-male nudist organization that hosts a Gathering every year around the last week in August. I've been attending every year since '04, and in that time only once was I told to take my shorts off, but that came jokingly from a cabin mate, not from one of the officials. The only times that I am textile is in the morning before breakfast when I do a 45-60 minute exercise walk (T-shirt & shorts,) and the evenings when it gets cool, but even then there are campfires to keep you warm if you wish to get nude and stay warm. The rest of the time, it's really not that unusual to see an attendee or two in shorts and nothing else, or a T-shirt and nothing else. Most of us just enjoy going to workshops, swimming, playing volleyball, drinking, or participating in other activities naked as a jaybird (confession: I've never noticed how naked a jaybird gets.)
Oh, I should mention that the real only time you need to be covered up is when walking on the footpath over the dam to go across the lake to the "play area," because it can be seen from a road that runs along side the grounds, and the owners don't want gawkers hanging around to see nude people crossing the dam.

I have only been to clothing optional spaces. One resort requires nudity in the pool, but is clothing optional otherwise.

My wife won't join me.
