RE:The Decline of Naturism: How Exclusion and Profit-Driven Agendas Are Hurting the Movement

In my - albeit limited - experience of naturist clubs in the UK, the main problem does seem to be of being 'stuck in the past'. A predominantly ageing membership who are content to continue doing things 'how we've always done them' and are resistant to change of any sort, and seem unable to grasp that this is not appealing to most younger people. While at the same time lamenting that there are not enough fit younger members to keep up with maintenance etc. As member-run not-for-profit organisations, commercialism is not an issue for most traditional clubs.
