Why do it on this site?
Why? Why do so many men come on this site and start jacking off on cam? This is a nudist site, there are plenty of sex/porn sites they can go on. Im probably guilty of giving a quick tug absentmindedly, but full on masturbation needs to go somewhere else.
Sadly, it is a constant battle on so many sites to try and create a clear distinction between nudism/naturism and exhibitionism - and not always a popular argument to make. I no longer go into the chatrooms here for that very reason, and only really check in here occasionally to keep in touch with a handful of contacts who I don't interact with on better moderated platforms
What's worse is the number of porn stars here. I found one today that has TWO accounts. Don't the mods know how to moderate this site? They need to check all profile pics with Google Lens. The men aren't the problem. It's the "ladies" that join and post their spam in every group, hoping to find a hook-up.
Those women wouldnt come on the site if the men werent so gullible and thirsty. Just look at home many men friend those fake accounts and thanks them profusely when they get accepted. And don't imagine those women are looking for hookups! They are looking for online interactions few of which require the actual existence of a female person associated with the account, but nearly all of which are in hope of some degree of financial resources on the part of the person being targeted.
Why do the men do it? I think it's boundary-pushing. A bit of a thrill. And a way to stand out, whereas in a less curated site they wouldn't be noticed by anyone in the general scrum. Even if the attention reward is negative, it's attention.
And a certain degree of bizarrely obtuse thinking that seems to affect relatively inexperienced men (regardless of age) with regard to women. I've known people in real life too - they start spouting off, and you want to stop them, give them a good shake, and ask them if they've ever even met a woman.
Ill admit it. Im one of those that accepts their friend requests. I know that I wont get anything out of them and they wont get anything out of me but its kind of fun to see how far they go with their story and what sob story theyre going to try and sell.

To play devil's advocate, I think there is a little bit of exhibitionism in most men. As well as certain levels of voyeurism. If there wasn't, they wouldn't be human.
There is something exciting about exposing your genitals for the world to see, especially if it's in a place like this where it is safe to do it.
And let's face it, men will be men. They like to look too.
I just don't think that most men are purely innocent here, keeping the true meaning of what nudism is "supposed to be."
Men think with one thing from the time they hit puberty. And coming to a nudist website doesn't just make all that go away.
And I don't think women, especially nowadays, are all that innocent either.
I have female friends who, whenever they see a woman with a low cut blouse, or a skirt that's hiked up high in the back, know she is doing it to be looked at.
I think as nudists we can SAY that it's not about sex, or being looked at (exhibitionism) or looking AT other people (voyeurism). But deep down there is a little of that in all of us. I mean, we notice others when they're clothed, and respond to them as such. We honestly think that when the clothes come off that that is still not going to exist. And maybe even more so?
That being said, the more you do it, the more natural it feels, and the less aware you might be of those behaviors, but I still think there is a part of that in every nudist, whether they will admit it or not.
As far as men playing with themselves on cam though, I agree, this site is not for that kind of behavior. Even though we're all human and we have normal human reactions to nudity in many ways, going that next step and doing that in a place that is supposed to be just about nudism, and not blatant sexual activity, is not appropriate.
