I have been a nudist since the mid-2000s. Avalon in Paw Paw, West Virginia was my first experience at social nudity and I have been hooked ever since. Anyone else ever been to Avalon?

Had visited Sunny Rest resort last weekend where I came across some nudists who have visited Avalon. Were telling me that the place has been renovated few years back after a fire had broken out. Said that its a lot quieter compared to Sunny Rest, but Avalon can be visited in the winter too. Was told to look for an event before heading out there else it could be a very quiet place.
That could be said of many resorts during this time of year.
will try and visit Penn Sylva this winter... relatively closer than Avalon.. been told Sundays there a few people who come to visit for indoor pool volleyball... lets see.. not sure i can withstand cold out of the house in the winter, being naked..
If we had the choice of being able to be naked on our property and having nudist friends over I know we would take that over having to visit resorts. If we do ever meet which we hope itll be because it was meant to happen. Naked Hugs Tina!
Totally agree! So much easier and more relaxing to have naked friends visit than to go to a nudist resort! We love the resorts, but we love to host nude friends more! The best thing is we dont have to dress up! Lol

It's one of the dilemmas we face in the not-too-distant future. We currently live in a 3000 sq. ft. tract home. We have done extensive work to our backyard to make it nude friendly. We only have one next-door neighbor, and they seem quite tolerant or accepting. Lots of trees and shrubs that block the surrounding home's view of our backyard. We have a pool, hot tub, lots of sunbathing area, an outdoor kitchen but lots and lots of maintaining and taking care of area. It's become too big for the both of us.
Our plan is to sell in a few years and move south into a condo or townhome. The downside is that we will be forced to limit our nudist life to inside the house and then travel an hour and a half to our club/resort. Currently, we are only 35 mins away. We have room to roam, lots of outdoor space to enjoy nudity and to do lots of yard work, projects and relaxing outside. We're re-evaluating this move and wondering if will be the right thing to do. Our other option is to buy something small at our club and live there part time. When you have property where you're able to be nude outside and have privacy, moving from that to someplace without it, is a huge adjustment.
