Being over something addictive like cheese

I use any plant-based cheese just once in a great while, and sparingly. I did not miss cheese like I was concerned that I would, I had just managed to find foods appropriate to vegan eating that I had not known about, and was soon making meals and eventually sandwiches that I liked much better. Hummus was really important among those things, with some seasonings I like and some La Victoria medium salsa I have a really special sauce I have in most of my cooked meals. When I considered cheese later on I realized I liked it with the addiction I had to what is in it, I didn't care to have it anymore. Plant-based cheese I have bought, mostly Daiya, was just for certain things that I did not have frequently, I did not want it for these cooked meals.
