Sleeping naked in hostels.
I sleep naked at home of course but when I travel I ofysleep naked in hostels.I was delighted to find out that I was not the only one who does, and the fasteoway to find out whoelse does it is to strip off.off.That breythe ice nicelySleeping naked in hostels is no different than anywhere else. I even walk to the bathroom naked at the hostel when it is not en suite.
Do you ever cross paths with women?
In 2012, I was on an end of the world travel tour where I stayed at numerous hostels across the world. Being a nudist but not an exhibitionist to women, I would always reserve a bed space in an all male dorm. Sleeping naked, like being naked is second natured to me. Along the route in Seattle I stayed in the Green Tortoise Hostel near the Fish Market. Upon arrival, they said due to circumstances I was now in a mixed dorm.
I figured it's now on them if they get a complaint. I compromised in my mind that I wouldn't walk around naked. Since I was on one of the upper racks, just before climbing up, I'd drop my shorts to enjoy my natural bed time. Even in the morning, with my good pal "woody" I'd hop down naked before slipping into my clothes. Sounds exciting, enticing? It could have been, but I'm an early riser and those younger nite owls were mostly asleep with their bunk bed curtain pulled closed.
The other five hostels visits, Denali, Houston twice, Barcelona and London were life as normal in the all male dorms. I'd sleep naked, walk naked to the bathrooms and towel off after showers without shame.

Did many of the other men walk around naked?
I rarely stay at hostels but the high price of all accommodations at Uluru pushed me into an all male dorm. I was much older than the other guys, who were from all over the world. I had planned to be naked in the dorm, but after assessing the vibe, I decided to climb into my bunk in my underwear and pull them off under the covers. In retrospect, I might have been able to set the tone for nudity as natural in that setting because of my older age/experience. Opportunity missed. But, I did catch some outdoor nude time. Somewhere I have some naked pics with Uluru and other scenes in the background.
