Driving Nude
Hello fellow nudists. I just a couple of months ago, ENJOYED, driving completely nude, to Haulover in Miami, and back, in my conversion van. It is SO MUCH MORE COMFORTABLE, and FUN, to be able to feel the breeze on your naked body, and to be able to do it, without fear. Just OBEY the speed limits, and DON"T drive in ANY reckless manner, and you won't have any problems.
I convinced a few fellow nudists, to join me on several occasions, and the ones who did, said they wondered why they never did it before, but of course, a few of them only wanted to do so, at night, but that's a start. Once you enjoy the feeling, and freedom of it, you'll LOVE IT!

I have been told that it is legal to drive nude in Florida.
OP, you are so right, glad you've convinced others of the joys of nude driving. I have driven nude many times in Florida, mostly on longer interstate trips, but also down to Haulover from Fort Lauderdale. It's a little inconvenient to get enough clothes back on to make it from the parking lot to the beach, but worth it. Once I saw a guy get out of his car nude, cross the parking lot, through the tunnel and onto the beach just carrying his shoulder pack. He didn't encounter any problems, it was not a busy day, but that's too risky for me.
Nude driving can be problem free if you're careful, like the OP suggests.

Yup, driving naked is a lot of fun--as long as you are careful, the way you guys suggest. Usually when I arrive at the Haulover parking lot when driving nude, I just throw on a sarong or towel and "wear" that to the beach. No problems so far. The same with Sandy Hook up here in NY/NJ--in October, when there were a couple of warm days and only hard-core nudists were there, I walked from the beach back to the parking lot naked. It was funny, because a couple of the regulars said they always wanted to do that. So they did. Just have to be careful, and not ruin things for everyone. But otherwise, good times.

A pair of shorts is enough clothes from the parking lot to the beach. How is that inconvenient?

I would like to walk between the parking lot and the beach at Sandy Hook in just a towel but I am afraid of it falling off in sight of the busy road that has to be crossed .

I have never seen anyone go between the parking lot and the beach nude. I have occasionally seen people showering nude in full view of the road, which could cause problems.
I do see people wearing next to nothing like a g string only. I generally wear a tan through swim brief that comes off as soon as I am out of site of the road,
Once someone parked next to me in the opposite direction. When he got out, he was wearing a very skimpy loincloth that covered when he was standing and walking everything was on display when he was getting out of the car and when he bent over or crouched down to get something. I was ready to leave before he was so I started walking toward the beach, When I stopped to remove my swim brief he caught up to me and he not surprisingly was already nude.
On the other extreme, it surprises me how many men wear shirts between the parking lot and the beach.
Why wear more than the minimum when it is going to come off soon anyway?
I have seen a more extreme form of walking clothed to the beach at Euronat resort in France.
Most people walk naked from their accommodation to the beach, while others drive to the beach. These may well include people who live locally and have purchased membership or a day pass.
There is generous parking within the resort close to the beach and while some people arrive naked, most undress next to the car and lock their clothing inside.
There is, however, a minority who walk down to the beach fully dressed and only undress when they have settled on the beach. Why would you want to get your clothing wet or sandy?
I've been driving nude to Haulover for as long as I remember but I go very early when its still dark , to catch the sunrise. When I had the super dark tint on my previous car I drove home nude too but now with the new car its a bit too much since the car is low to the ground and no tint - yet. Tint going in January so more nude driving.
At my part time job I close late at night so I always drive home nude with the windows open until I get to traffic lights. I have a towel kilt with snaps that makes it easy to cover up and to walk to the beach. You can get it on Amazon. It has an elastic band and snaps to fit any size. Quite convenient.
Keep on riding - nude!!.
