Guys can't see beyond our boobs
There was (I think) an old film where a gang of girls decided to hold a bank and, instead of wearing masks, to go naked, sure that nobody would recognise them.
There is some truth in this. I can't count the number of times I met a guy on a beach while naked, exchanged a few words and a hand shake and in the evening, when dressed, he didn't recognise me. Now it's true that dressed up I may look a bit different. Heels bring my height to over 1m90 and elegant clothes (hopefully) make me look slimmer (yes, I guess I am at that age when I may start to look better dressed than naked). Still, all women who meet me naked (usually the partners of the hapless guys) do recognise me.
The regulars (like on all this site, almost entirely men) have seen me naked, with only my eyes covered, hundreds of times here. They also saw full portraits of mine quite a number of times. Still, when I mix pics of mine with some of my models' they have a hard time deciding which ones are mine and which ones aren't.
I guess the explanations are both about the hard and the soft part of males' anatomy. Meaning brain and hormones.
Ok, men's brains are on average a bit bigger than women's but don't gush about it guys. It's not the size which matters, but how you use it. And women dedicate a larger proportion of their brain to recognising faces and, most importantly, emotions. They are more empathic and that's because they had to raise children and socialise to create social bonds while foraging good quality food, all this while you guys were out hunting and rarely bringing anything back home (yes, you would cook and eat most small game in the field all by yourselves).
What about hormones? When asked, all men will answer that the first thing they notice when they see a naked woman is her eyes. Liars. What you notice first is our bodies. I happen to have a nice face (at least I think I do and I receive many compliments for it but who knows, maybe they too are a hidden way to complimenting my boobs?) but when I'm nude men will of course look at my face but I have the feeling that they are looking through me, waiting for the moment when it would appropriate and acceptable to let their gaze slide down. Of course, scarcity creates value and all but I think this is more than the idea of getting as a freebee something with commercial value (the image of my naked body which, as I have fully proved, I can get cash for). It's about your hormones making you imagine things.
Anyway. Fine by me, glad to make you guys happy with no more effort than that needed to drop my kit, but for those ladies who wanted to rob a bank naked, just one piece of advice: absolutely go for it but only if you are sure that all employees and patrons are men. Better yet, how about being naked AND wearing a mask? Never too prudent in these cases. Good luck.
I freely admit to being the member who has consistently noticed eyes and smile first. They really catch my attention. Though, additionally, the other female attributes are also reviewed quickly thereafter. Flora T's comments are spot on for the majority as she usually is, nothing new there. So ... guilty as charged but would be saddened if that's all that were presented. I think I'm safe on that count.
Okay a bank robbery would be amazing to watch. Yeah I will sit on the floor and watch. But my mouth will be open and my eyes wide open and enjoying the view.
Now as for our amazing Flora ! Yes I have enjoyed your pictures over the years and I will say I have a hard time recognizing you with out your face in the picture. Because sometimes these pictures are more artistic and in some wonderful positions. Do I miss seeing your eyes, hell yay ! Your eyes tell so much about what you are thinking !
I am always hoping that you are back to writing questions for this group. I went and looked at the media page Friday and I had a hard time seeing who each elegant lady was ! Oh a photo shoot in a bank !
There is, Flora, of course the well known and famous line "sorry, i didn't recognise you with your clothes on.." never be there a truer word said in jest!
I'm sure though, by now, I'd recognise you with your clothes on, and off too...
Oh, er, interesting thoughts, as usual! Once again, I feel I'm going to struggle to contain my reactions enough for a cohesive response!
Part of it is only knowing you through my phone screen, and from that perspective I still feel I know you better through your thoughts than looks. And then, the images are mostly still photos and short video clips compared to, say, being your neighbour and seeing you coming and going, perhaps with a greeting or chat. And the images and clips don't necessarily focus on your face, or is that just how I see them from the safety of a remote screen where the two-second rule is subverted?
Your comparable experiences in clothing-free environments are a different situation, but may be similar. I'd like to think the realness of a face-to-face interaction, even sans clothing, would give me a better chance of appreciating and processing your overall presence compared to the screen and facilitate later recall, but I can't promise it. I think I recognise the 'regulars' at Sunnyside North (whom I haven't extensively interacted with) by faces and overall proportions and movements rather than the intricate details, but then would I recognise them later in a clothed environment? Not sure. Past experience does suggest I do miss people I otherwise know if I encounter them in a different environment to the one I am familiar with seeing them. An acquaintance greeting me at an interstate airport once had me flummoxed for some time before my brain finally made a connection. Those who have an ability to recall someone from a single prior interaction and even recall personal details have a superpower in my opinion.
I have actually wondered if I would recognise you in real life should we meet (congratulations: you're most worthy of having a virtual stalker!) and I'd like to think so in the right environment such as a spa in Germany's east or near what I perceive to be your home area. Your stature, face and anticipated accent would likely be the cues to have me trying to confirm the link, even if I'm momentarily distracted by other attributes on encountering you. And that uniquely-developed muscle on the lower part of your back would be a total confirmation for me.

Prime example. I was at the shore one summer weekend and someone came up to me called me by name and started talking. I thought he looked familiar, but couldn't remember why. Later that day, I remembered that he was on the Board of Directors of the Company where I worked. Men look different if shorts, a t shirt and baseball cap than in a business suit.
A somewhat humorous example. I met a friend of mine at a carnival and he introduced me to another family they were friendly with. I thought the wife looked familiar but didn't know why and she didn't think I looked at all familiar. During the course of discussion, she mentioned that she was an ultrasound technician and I realized that I had recently had an ultrasound of my scrotum where she worked. I said nothing at the time, but mentioned it to my friend later. He humorously said I should have dropped my shorts and seen if it jogged her memory.
Steve, that bizarre diamond-shaoed structure on my lower back is in fact not a muscle but just fat. Yes, I had some compliments about it being cute (I seem to store fat well, not the only lump of fat I get compliments for) but it has a tendency to disappear when I lose fat. For example now I'm more trim and it doesn't much appear in pics and I mostly wipe it out anyway because I don't find it cute at all. It's just bizarre.
Richie, remember that portrait on TS of a lady, face fully visible and with eyes wide open turning from green to blue and with a big black cock in her mouth? You asked who that was. Well, that was yours faithfully, with fake eye brushes and eyebrows painted thicker than usual.
Oh, and just for anecdote, that cock was a silicone practical joke/present I got which is now a staple prop in my studio and most of my girlfriends posed with it... I could show many pics with it. Speaking of which, I bought a studio flash just to get those lovely enlarged pupils... And while I knew from the beginning that the best, most expressive portraits I take are right after the model undresses fully, I found that portraits of my girlfriends with a male model (usually their relevant other) in their mouth are also incredibly beautiful. It's porn of course, but artistic porn, I tried a few times to show a few of these incredibly expressive portraitures on TS but the mods delete them (almost) instantly.
I didn't claim that my eyes and smile are always bizarre. Except when I think of something else and look through rather than at people. Remember that strange portrait where my eyes were fully open and I had a very severe face? Didn't you think I looked like an owl and didn't that make you feel like a mouse?
But that rhomboid structure us always there, fully inexpressive...

I once had an intravaginal ultrasound - not a pleasant experience, have you seen the size of that rod?; I'm sure they could pack whatever is inside into something thinner... - and it was given by a young guy. I remember him very well even now, one year later but I am sure he couldn't remember me the next day. And this is not because he's a guy, but because he must have "done" two dozen women per day while I only did one in 40 years...
I remember what your eyes look like from the few times I have seen them, Flora, but I am 8 months into an 18-month androgen deprivation therapy treatment for advanced prostate cancer, Testosterone production is suppressed, and they have to use an ultra-sensitive test to detect any testosterone at all. Thats what it takes, along with radiation, to get rid of the cancer cells that feed on testosterone. You reduce the testosterone to close to nothing and the cancer cells that may be leftover after the radiation starve to death, at least thats the goal. It will be late next year before I am done. Meanwhile, any treatment for ED is wasted effort. My balls and penis are hibernating and wont wake up until almost a year from now; I hope they will, anyway, but thats the price to survive. Meanwhile, I can still appreciate the female form, but, mentally, I see the ladies as works of art, which they are, but I would like to enjoy them a little more than I can now, if you get the picture. So, yes, I would recognize your face.
