Latest on Paving and Restroom project at Blind Creek

This from Treasure Coast Naturists:
The County posted this update today:

"The parking area at Blind Creek Beach will be closed for renovations starting Monday, Jan. 6 and remain closed through mid-summer.
St. Lucie Countys Parks, Recreation and Facilities Department is launching a major renovation of the parking area to include restroom facilities at Blind Creek Beach - St. Lucie Countys only clothing-optional beach. Weather permitting, the project is expected to be completed by July 2025.

While the parking area is closed, the beach will remain open for pedestrian traffic. Beachgoers, who wish to continue to use Blind Creek Beach, can access the designated clothing-optional section by parking at the Little Mud Creek parking lot, 5460 S Ocean Drive, and proceeding south along the sidewalk on A1A to a temporary beach access entrance or access that from the beachside".

I think a lot of us were hoping that they would have at least part of the parking lot open during construction, but I understand why they will shut it down completely. Mostly for safety reasons, but not having people getting in the way will prevent any delays. But still, 6 Months?? It is not a bad walk from Little Mud Creek just to the north, but that parking lot is not that big and I am sure that when it fills up and spills out into the road people using, or trying to use the boat launch ramp will be pissed off.

Are you comfortable walking along a busy state highway in a tiny swim brief?

After sending this I thought that your answer might be the one I gave my wife when she asked me if I was really comfortable walking around the neighborhood wearing only very short gym shorts. I said " No, I would be really comfortable doing it nude, but someone would probably complain, and I would be in trouble!"
