The usual story: nearly empty profile, but could be an authentic person in the conversation until we reached the point where she or he asked for money. Performance: 2 of 5 stars

I like the rating system. I guess the ones where the profile is so completely fake (5'7 and 70 lbs from Brooklyn, Texas) get a 0 out 5. Maybe the ones with a believable profile but an overused photo of a porn star, get a 1. If it takes 4 messages to determine their fake, a 4?

I'm still working on the scale. Quality of the fake profile is one parameter, originality and quality / consistency of the role another. And very important (IMHO, of course) is the acting in the chat: How good is she / he in manipulating me, how greedy, how clever ...
I'm trying to think about it like about a movie: Script? Director's work? Score? Cut? Camera? Actors? Summary how good had we been entertained?

My overall goal is, of course, to get rid of these annoyances. I had already some cases where a suspected scammer stopped suddenly after viewing my profile (with the posts in this group) again. Also a way to acknowledge the suspicion.

I've been replying to a spammer's post publicly declaring them as spammers. Not sure if that does any good, though.
