RE:Lack of Male Nudity in Artwork

If you cant find the art you want maybe try your hand yourself. Im not much of an artist myself but occasionally get an idea that I want to try it. In the past I have done pencil sketches of nude forms. There are many good tutorials that I like to follow to help. You dont have to be experienced to create art.

RE:Lack of Male Nudity in Artwork

the lack of male nudity in artwork and the status of art of women and the status of men are out of balance. As stated in another comment. My view is that the lack is based on society, and how society reacts to the truth of human physiology. I am sure you can recall how a mother breastfeeding has been often treated out of context, and statements or actions such not exposed in societal artworks for viewing.
Well, the same kind of societal control accounts for a lot of the male artwork not existing, at least
not in true context. The male comes with an extended proboscis that is on the mind of the artists, as to how to depict the male physiology??? The reason is that society is not willing to allow the truth in art to prevail, as for an artist to show the proboscis protruding from a male is out of societal understanding or presentation. Society wants the male to evaporate. Thus, the artist is aware not to pass his or her art as actual, but as satisfying society.

An extended proboscis?

I dont think you mean what you think you mean, but a lot of those old busts of Italian guys certainly had a Roman nose.
