Story heard from a fellow traveler.

Last night over our farewell dinner a young British gal related a story about her volunteer EMT father.

On the south coast of England there is an official nude beach that is a fairly long hike from the road. The EMT team got a call from a sunbather on the beach about a possible heart attack victim on the beach. The team made the hike and found the victim unresponsive. Despite their heroic efforts he was pronounced dead.

But who was he? Was the question. They had the other bathers all get by their gear so that they could identify which pile was unclaimed. Mystery solved.

Sad story for sure. But at least he died enjoying his birthday suit on a nude beach.

I usually leave my license in my car or hotel room when I go to the beach so I guess there would be no way of identifying me if something went wrong.
