Group Monitoring?

Are the group moderators looking at the posts? Not only this group but most of the groups I belong too are being inundated with Young women who want to be my naked friend. Most have been members for only a couple of days and post the same message on multiple groups. If I can easily spot the spammers, why can't the moderators and block them. I have given up on the administrators doing anything when they are reported. These spammers are driving me to the point of leaving the groups they are infecting.

Have you checked out the moderator for this group. He hasn't logged in for over two years. That's the problem with most groups with accumulating spam. I personally delete spam from the group I moderate usually within 24 hours, and the moderators for several other groups I follow are also good about that. This seems to have the benefit that the spammers go elsewhere. The solutions include: 1) getting rid of the spammers. This requires action from the admins who are AWOL. This Liza person who frequently hits this group, if you look at her profile has probably sent out 10,000 spam messages; 2) switching out moderators which requires admin help, so same issue as 1; 3) starting new groups with active mods.

You hit the nail on the head. The administrators are not overseeing the groups. Unfortunately this site is in a downward spiral due to lack of attention from the administrators. Thank you for your comments and your attention to your groups.

True, but there are very few of the problem posts in the Forum, so the administrators must be giving them the attention they need.

And when you flag those posts, nothing happens to them

When you flag a post in the forum the admins should see it. I don't know if flagging in a group goes to them or to the group owner. I own several groups related to various years' Bare Necessities nude cruises and have never gotten a message about a flagged post. I also don't remember ever seeing anything that would be flag-able. Maybe I'm just lucky that my groups don't lend themselves to catfishing.
